Today marks the 21st anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. His IUP's visit to his 9/11 Memorial in Oak Grove is scheduled for 11:30 am tomorrow and will be chaired by Lt. Col. Erich Steffens of his IUP Military Science Division. Additional speakers include IUP President Michael Driscoll, IUP Ambassador and Senior Kristen Collins, and longtime Indiana County EMS provider Danny Sacco, who is now an IUP Medical Services Assistant his instructor. Sacco was the first responder at the World Trade Center in 2001.
The event will be accompanied by music by the IUP Wind Ensemble. In case of bad weather, the program will move to the Fisher Auditorium.
