While the NFL star may be on his way to being regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of this generation, Mahomes also happens to be an avid golfer. Since he has displayed his golfing attributes to the world in recent years, what is the golf handicap of the 5-time Pro Bowl star?
Ahead of the much anticipated Superbowl game in State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Mahomes overcame his soon-to-be opponent in the MVP race. He won his second Most Valuable Player award this past week after dethroning Philadelphia Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.
While he may have mastered the sport of football, the 27-year-old has grown interest in other sports too. Like many of his fellow quarterbacks, Mahomes is a decent golfer. However, to measure one’s level of skills in the 18-hole sport, a golf handicap is required.

A golf handicap indicates the player’s current ability over an entire round of golf represented by a numerical value. The Kansas City Chiefs QB has been a frequent competitor of golf in recent years. Similar to his football career, he only seems to get better day by day.
According to Golf.com, Patrick Mahomes holds a golf handicap of 7.7. While many may argue if it’s good or bad, anything below 10 is widely appreciated for amateur golfers. Moreover, he has even competed in the sixth edition of ‘The Match’ alongside John Allen, taking on Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.
