The New York Yankees started this season with a bang, hoping to win the World Series after 2009. But as great as the first half was for the team, the second half is not nearly as good. The player who is breaking records every day with every homer that he makes is none other than Aaron Judge.
Multiple players got injured this season, and because of that, players from the Minor League also got called. One such player called from the Minor League is Oswaldo Cabrera.
The outfielder has shown his potential to the team in the very few games he has played. The potential MVP, Aaron Judge, is certainly impressed with his performance and made a joke about Cabrera taking his job.
What did Aaron Judge say about Cabrera on his performance?
Cabrera is getting praise for his out-fielding since the first game he played as a Yankee in the Major League. One such valuator is none other than the ‘All Rise’ Aaron Judge.

Talking about Oswaldo’s performance, he said, “That was impressive. He’s gonna take my job out there. It’s been fun watching him. He is competitive at-bat, plays unreal defense, that’s maybe his 6th game in right field, just have fun with it, really good to see it.”
Judge may have only made a joke about Oswaldo taking his job, but this joke made his fans sad and angry at the same time, as they did not find that joke funny at all.
They think that after Judge enters free agency next season, the New York Yankees might not retain him and that his job will literally get taken away from him.
What are the fans saying about Judge?
Judge saying the words, “he’s gonna take my job” did not fit well with the Yankees fans. They got hurt by this statement as they think it might be possible in the next season, as Judge is about to be a free agent.
Saying that they are unhappy might be an understatement.
Bc he’s leaving this off-season
